on a whim we made the excursion today and got lucky. the entire course is essentially a gravel walking path. since i haven't been there before i'm not sure how long this has been the case. if you are playing and pushing a stroller, this is an excellent destination. the course was in good shape too and provides enough challenge to warrant the drive.

however, don't drive home through the delaware water gap down 611 and stop in portland and eat at the portland family diner and order a rueben. definitely not worth the trip.

Indeed, much of the course is very stroller friendly but I cannot imagine trying to wield one on holes 7-10. This is the area out on the sandbar between the river and the (mostly) dry river bed.

it must have been redesigned, i had no problems anywhere. not having been there before, i don't know if it had been changed. 9 was up on a hill, is that the dry river bed down below the pin where you tee from? that was still in mature trees and very clear of any obstacles. easy stroller sailing.
