current hole 5 at Nocky Question

When I started playing nocky regularly I noticed that there are a pair of Innova baskets on hole 3 and 5 yet the rest of the course is all DGA's.

Recently I got an unconverted DVD player I can now watch SD DVD's in near HD quality on my HDTV.

I'm starting to enjoy watching disc golf DVD's on it, and I've been watching the 05 Worlds DVD's frequently.

One thing I noticed is that then hole 9 (now 5) was a DGA basket.

So my question's are what happened to the DGA basket on what is now hole #5?? And was current hole #3 (old hole #7) as DGA basket too.

I highly recommend purchasing a unconverted DVD player (just not a pricey one as they will become obsolete when blue ray prices come down) Standard Definition video looks so much better.

Innova supposedly gave 18 baskets to the parkway for worlds and they were going to stay. Prior to worlds 2 of the baskets at the parkway were stolen. So the 2 disccatcher baskets at knocky were taken to the parkway for worlds to make the course all discatchers. After worlds innova wanted the money for the disccatchers and they were sold to the course in Maryland on the old landfill

I thought the original parkway baskets are at the yetter park in east stroudsburg. Maybe i am confused but i thought that is what J. Bunn the designer of that course told me.

Gunkel, did they ever finish that Scarboro Hills course?

I'd love to go back and see the finished product since it wasn't finished yet when we were there several years ago. It had some killer elevation changes and the potential to be a really good course. Too bad what would be killer views across the valley look directly at landfill.

The Parkway baskets did indeed go to Yetter Park. I was actually there the day John Deusler delivered the first nine as the three of us dug out all 18 holes with a power auger.

jeff i dont know if scarboro was finished. It was pretty close to being done when we were there. duesler is on the discgolfersrus site so maybe i will ask him. The way i remember it was that a few trees were marked to get cut down and maybe some other small stuff . i would think it is done because i remember the enthusiasm from the park and rec guy there when i asked him about it years ago. Just for me taking an interest in it he sent me a shirt and sticker with the scarboro hills disc golf logo on it. That was cool.

I was thinking more like...you had on a Cowboys t-shirt, and he just wanted to give you another option.
