why attend a public meeting when one has private access?

Its good to be seen in a public light, as a group supporting the park, we made alot of good points on our behalf in front of a large group of people/other clubs.

They thanked us numerous times for being there, and we offered to run clinics at the course. It was a gesture of good will on our behalf.

i'm thrilled the meeting went well. judging by the belligerent attitudes that usually accompany any sort of nockamixon-returning-to-18-holes-yet inquiries i felt it best for me to steer clear of the meeting lest the pitchforks found their ways out of the trunks.

i honestly got the impression that the new park manager understands the importance of nocki returning to 18 holes (the sooner the better). his previous experience was managing Moraine State Park (so he has experience dealing with disc golf).

the disc golf club ended up being the only group to offer a way to better the park, not at the expense of the park's budget...and it seemed to be an appreciatted change of pace from all the complaining brought up by the fishers versus boaters (majority of the time spent...sigh)...
