Got a chance to lend a hand in the work day and play the course for the first time today...a REAL treat!

It was also nice to meet Fred and some of the Parks Board guys...they've (mostly Fred, the others insist) done a wonderful job with a beautiful plot of land that was previously unused.

A job very well done....surely hope to see it expand to 18 holes.

Went to play last night and with the rain we had , the basket on hole 4 was 5 feet away from beeing flooded, Fred I think you might want to move that basket in different location or you going to have to skip the hole.

Otherwise the course is a real treat, GREAT JOB !!!!

I just wanted to say thanks to all the guys who showed in crappy weather to lend a hand. The work day was a success and we were able to clean up a lot of debris. We had about 10 guys there and the majority of the work was done by 10:30. I continued to work with a couple other guys to thin some fairways and develop some better landing areas. Im thinking that I may have rubber mats ordered by the end of this week or next.

Ralph- Its not surprising that the water was only 5' away from the water. We just had like 4" of rain Most of the time, the water is about 25-30' away. I have plans for some alternate positions tho... Glad you liked the course.
