Course Description:
Little Lehigh Parkway is the course to test your arm out. The fairways here are long and riddled with OB. You need to be able to crank out long and accurate drives to keep your score within contention. The Little Lehigh Creek runs up and down the left and right side of the fairways to remind you that raw distance is not the key to this course. Hole 1 stretches at an appropriate 666ft down a long fairway with OB in every direction. This hole sets the tone for what’s to come.
The park itself is gorgeous and we feel both lucky and privileged to have our course within the boundaries of the City of Allentown. The course and park are in the middle of the city, but secluded by nature. The Little Lehigh Parkway was featured in the 2005 PDGA Professional Worlds.
Getting to Hole 1
NOTE: Currently, the Parkway is under construction and the path from hole 13 to hole 14 is blocked off. You will have to walk back up 13’s fairway and follow the road to 14’s teepad.
After driving into the main entrance of LLP, make your first right turn over a metal grated bridge. This takes you to a gravel parking lot. To the right of this lot is hole 1.
More importantly, after finishing hole 13, follow the path to the left of the basket back to the main parking lot. The tee-pad for hole 14 is located in the grassy field directly in front of the parking lot. It is to the right, behind a small row of pine trees.
Facilities and Pedestrian Traffic
The LLP is one of Allentown’s most popular and active parks. You will, without doubt, run into a variety of walkers, joggers, bikers, and other pedestrians while on the course. Please remember that pedestrians have the right-of-way and allow them to clear the fairways before throwing.
There are bathrooms by the parking lot for hole 1. While walking from hole 4 to hole 5, there is a water fountain. These facilities are open in the winter, but make sure to take precautions in case they are closed.

Interesting Facts
The LLP is famous for its location and upkeep, but we also have something a bit strange to be famous for. When playing hole 6, you’ll walk over a nice stone bridge to get to the basket . A man named Earl lives under this bridge. He’s been living in the Parkway for around 25 years. Don’t worry, he isn’t dangerous. The local paper wrote a very nice article on him that you can locate from the link below
Earl of the Parkway
