Jordan Creek Course Info

Course Established: 1992

Course Description:

Jordan Creek has established itself as not only one of the best courses on the East Coast, but one of the best in the country. After its establishment, the course has gone through a series of makeovers and has moved locations until settling well into the wooded terrain of the Jordan Creek Parkway.

Many courses claim to have, “a shot for every player,” yet few live up to that claim. Jordan takes that claim, lives up to it, and then shows you a few shots that you might never consider. The holes are a constant mix from densely wooded to deceivingly open. Water comes into play constantly and the rushing Jordan Creek has taken its fair share of plastic from us. Then there’s the dreaded pond on hole 7. If you lose one in the pond, don’t bother looking; the water is stagnant and no one needs to grow a set of fins finding a disc.

Jordan Creek Parkway was featured at the 2005 PDGA Pro Worlds

Weekly doubles are held at Jordan every Tuesday evening beginning at 5:00pm. Check out our page on Weekly Doubles for more information

Getting to Hole 1

Hole 1 is easily found. After parking in the main lot, simply follow the concrete path. You’ll pass hole 2’s basket on your right and hole 3’s tee-pad to your left. After passing hole 3, the first hole will be on your righthand side.

Facilities and Pedestrian Traffic

Mountain bikers, fishers, and hikers can be found throughout the park. Please remember that pedestrians have the right of way and wait to throw until they are off the fairways. We have plenty of benches for breaks and trash cans are provided on almost all of the holes.

There are no water fountains on the course so stock up before arriving. There is one restroom located next to the tennis courts by the parking lot. You could fill your water in the bathroom if you so choose, but the faucet is a bit short.

Local Places to Eat

We figure you’ll be a bit tired and a bit hungry after your round. We’ve got your back on where to find some grub before hitting the road.

Wert’s Cafe

This establishment is family-owned and have some of the best burgers you’ll ever taste. The prices are moderate and the menu is awesome (we recommend the famous onion rings for an appetizer).

The Liberty Street Tavern

The Liberty Street Tavern is your local bar with great food and since they don’t serve liquor, the beer selection is unbelievable. This isn’t your regular kinda-ok-but-kinda why-did-I-eat-that bar food. The Tavern is known for their fish tacos and stellar pizza. We often drop by after doubles for a few brews and some good conversation.
